The Italian problem: who has caused the public debt trouble?

The economic weakness of Italy in the International competition, its economic and social crisis and the sacrifices required by Monti’s “Salva Italia” plan have a common cause: the excessive public debt. A country strongly indebted find it difficult to solve temporary economic problems, economic and social emergency and, more extremely, implement a serious economic development plan. This paper aims at giving an historic analysis of the Italian governments and of the economic factors that have caused the current problematic situation. Italy is an example of a bad Politic system: the past politicians have not followed what we define as “The good parent principle” (see it in www.lteconomy.it), by which the current generation tries to leave a country without debts and economic obstacles to future generations.
