Recyle, Reduce and Re-Use (The Tripple R approach)

Summary
On 10/07/2017 to date, Gift Women Link Foundation  https://www.giftwomenlink.com/ecocraftingproject   collects wastes across Kasese district Uganda. The waste is then recycled into eco-friendly products. Participants are trained to recycle the collected waste (papers, CDs, metal wires, plastic bottles, bottles tops, polythene, vocado seeds, etc) into eco-friendly products.

The project is a hands on practical doing. The beneficiaries are guided on how to manipulate local dry waste (mainly papers, CDs, metal wires, plastic bottles, bottles tops, polythene, vocado seeds, card boards, All stationery papers etc.). Mache. We are covering the waste with paper. Once dry and harden we will paint and decorate the items.
All waste and other items are locally available everywhere. All material used are chemical-free and environmentally friendly
.
Conflict resolution, group rules, group shared leadership, craft marketing and craft pricing are some of the topics that we discuss. The aim is to give the group a foundation to be able to reduce wastes hence environmental conservation.
